Tuition Assistance

NCS funded assistance

Northside Christian School has limited funds available to assist families who have financial need to make private Christian education more affordable. Families with financial need should apply for tuition aid.  This process is kept confidential.

  1. Each family must apply with the Family Financial Needs Assessment Company (FFNA).  FFNA provides a confidential and objective financial need assessment of families who apply for financial aid. The application may be completed on-line at www.ffna1.com, or by mail.  Once the application is received by FFNA, normal processing ($20 fee) takes approximately four weeks.  A two-day Fast Fax option ($40 fee) is also available.  Northside’s FFNA ID# is 1091.

  2. Families must also submit the 2008-09 NCS Tuition Assistance Application (pdf download) to the Finance office on or before April 30, 2008.

  3. Each family must also provide a copy of their 2007 Federal Income Tax Return to the Northside Christian School Finance office on or before April 30, 2008.  This tax return is kept confidential and is used to validate information submitted on the FFNA form.

  4. The priority deadline for application is March 14th to be considered in the cycle of Tuition Assistance awards to be made as early as possible.  Please contact Gale Church at 541-7593, extension 253 if you have questions.

  5. The actual amount of Tuition Aid is calculated from the FFNA determination of need, prorated based on the total need of applying families, and the amount of dollars in the Tuition Aid budget.

  6. You will be notified of your award amount after May 1, 2008.
