The Royal Ambassador Band performed at Pinellas Park High School recently for an enthusiastic group of parents and 4 judges. The judges became enthused about our performance as well, rating the band with Superior rating in all categories.
It was a very challenging program and the kids worked hard to make it happen. For those interested, the performances are available for download (mp3 format) below. Please right click on the file (Windows) and choose "Save As".

The Nation's Best ... NCS Students!
Congratulations to NCS junior, Brandon Martell for his outstanding performance in Washington, DC recently. With great technique and sound, Brandon won the National Trombone Competition. Brandon played in front of an audience and judges of professional trombone players who represent several major orchestra and jazz groups from around the world.
Sam Jones, also in 9th grade, won the Junior Division (through age 15) of the National Trumpet Competition in March. He and 19 other semi-finalists competed in a solo competition at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. From that semi-final round, Sam was one of three finalists (all high school freshmen) to compete again, and Sam took first place.
