10-29: After a long wait, the qualifiers are in: Adam Artille: 100 free, 200 Medley  and 400 Free Relays; Casey Caldwell: 200 IM, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays; Lucas Akker: 200 and 500 Free, 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays; Morgan Finch: 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays; Molly and Amy Scott, Mackenzie Caldwell and Danielle Winkler all qualified in the 200 Free and 400 Free Relays.Jordann Windschauer qualified in the Girls Diving. Please pray for safe travel and a great meet!

10-22: The team swam great! Girls were District runners-up and Boys placed a close third. We qualified 19 swimmers for Regions in every event but 2. The swimmers are: Middle School- Caroline Neely, Laurel Schmidt, Taylor Wright and Joseph DeBee. The High Schoolers are: Emily Aderhold, Catherine Brown, Mackenzie Caldwell, Alicia Chechele, Michele Clark, Amy Scott, Molly Scott, Danielle Winkler, Jordan Windschauer, Adam Artille, Casey Caldwell, Lucas Akker, Morgan Finch, Michael Rodkinson and  Will Knapper.

10-02: The weather got the better of us today, the meet was cancelled. The next meet will be Tuesday, October 9th at Bardmoor vs. Canterbury. It will also be Senior night, celebrating the final home meet for Adam Artille, Alicia Chechele, Catherine Brown, Rikka Chiang and Jordan Windschauer.

10-02: Great news! The Boys 400 Free Relay Team of Adam Artille, Lucas Akker, Casey Caldwell and Morgan Finch made the St. Pete Times Swimming Honor Roll with the third fastest time in the County of 3:27.13. Way to go Mustangs!

9-30-07: The St. Pete City Meet was a huge success. This might be known as the "Victory in Defeat" Meet. Northside came away with 19 second place medals and placed most of its swimmers into the finals. Congratulations to the Girls who came away with a third place trophy scoring 332 points behind powerhouses Northeast High and St. Pete High. Once again, Jordan Windschauer proved victorious in the diving event, scoring a record high 369.45 points. The Boys had a great meet as well, scoring 302 points, finishing behind Northeast, St. Pete and Shorecrest. Lucas Akker won the 200 Free with a new school record and placed second in the 500 free, also with a new school record. The 200 Medley and 400 Free Relay teams of Adam Artille, Casey Caldwell, Morgan Finch and Akker placed second in both events, setting new school records. The next meet is 10-02 against Keswick and Indian Rocks at the St. Pete Beach City Pool.

9-25-07: NCS hosted Admiral Farragut and Indian Rocks Christian. The Girls won both meets, defeating AF 57-27 and IRC 71-12. The Boys lost a close contest to AF 48-46, but easily defeated IRC 68-13. This weekend is the St. Pete City Meet at Northshore Pool with prelims starting at 8:30 am and Finals at 4:30 pm.

9-22: Congratulations to the NCS Varsity Girls Team who won the Florida Christian Schools Meet in Ft. Lauderdale this past weekend. A final event victory in diving by Jordan Windschauer boosted the Girls into first by a narrow 2 point margin. Wins by Molly Scott in the 50 Free, Jordan in diving and Amy Scott, Molly Scott, Mackenzie Caldwell and Michele Clark were significant but every swimmer counted in this overall team victory. The Boys also swam exceptionally well, finishing second behing the host, Westminster Academy. Wins by Lucas Akker in the 200 and 500 free, Casey Caldwell in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke,  Morgan Finch in the 100 Fly and Akker, Caldwell, Finch and Adam Artille in the 400 Free Relay again contributed to the team effort. Way to go Mustangs! The next meet will be at home Tuesday against Admiral Farragut and Indian Rocks Christian.

9-19:  The Girls lost a very close dual meet to St. Pete Cathlolic 78-69 while the boys were victorious with a 90-83 victory.

09-13: Northside Varsity Girls had a very successful outing at the Long Center, beating Clearwater Central Catholic 53-41 and Indian Rocks Christian 78-12. The Boys swam a close meet vs. CCC, losing 51-44 and were quite successful against Indian Rocks winning 70-13. The Girls remain undefeated this season while the Boys are 4-2.

8-28: vs. Out of Door Academy

  • Varsity Girls 313, OOD 24;
  • Junior Varsity Girls 68, OOD 9.;  

9-04: vs. Tampa Prep

  • Varsity Boys 106- TP 181,
  • Varsity Girls 131- TP 127.
  • Comments: Varsity Girls were behind Tampa Prep going into the final relay but strong swims by Amy and Molly Scott, Mackenzie Caldwell and Danielle Winkler proved to be the winning difference.

9-06: vs Pinellas Park

  • Varsity Boys 66-PP 23,
  • Varsity Girls 82, PP 15,
  • JV Girls 52, PP 4.

9-06: vs. Largo

  • Varsity Boys 53 Largo 40,
  • Varsity Girls 75 Largo 23,
  • Junior Varsity Girls 44 Largo21.
