3-18-08: Great playing in windy conditions for both teams. The Girls beat Keswick Christian 7-0 and the Boys won 6-1. Next match is a tough one against Calvary Christian on Thursday at Bardmoor.

03-10-08: Great job by the Varsity Boys against Indian Rocks Christian, posting a 7-0 score. We are glad to have all the Boys back healthy and playing well. The Girls had a close match, losing to IRC 4-3. Special thanks to Sara Beth Lyle for stepping up and winning at position 5 the last two weeks !

03-06-08: O.K. We finally met our match. Shorecrest just seems to get better every year ! The Girls lost 6-1 but congratulations to all who really played well- especially to Kerri Gallagher who came back from a 7-2 deficit to win in a tie-breaker ! The Boys lost 7-0 but had several close matches as well. The weather was miserable and all were glad to get this one in.

03-04-08: Weather not cooperating today. The match against Calvary will be re-scheduled for 3-20 at 4 pm at Bardmoor.

03-03-08: Both Girls and Boys played well against Admiral Farragut. The Girls won 7-0 while the Boys won 6-1. Big improvement from the first match !

02/29/08: Closer matches today against Canterbury. The Girls won 5-2 while the Boys lost 4-3. The Boys were without 2 of their regular players, so hopefully we can do well in the re-match.

02/28/08: Good match against Indian Rocks Christian. Girls and Boys both victorious !

2-25-08: Both Boys and Girls teams played extremely well against Cambridge. The Girls won 6-1 while the Boys won 7-0. Way to go Mustangs !

2-21-08: Congratulations to both Boys and Girls for a strong showing against Admiral Farragut. The girls won all singles matches in beating Farragut 5-2. The Boys were victorious 4-3, thanks to a close win by Gus Myers in a tiebreak and Casey Caldwell and Alex King in doubles. Next match is 2-25 at HCC against Cambridge.

Note: The match against Cambridge on March 13th has been changed to March 10th (Monday) at Bardmoor- Thanks, Coach Caldwell

02-19-08: NCS played its first match of the year against a strong team from Calvary Christian. While the Girls Team lost 5-2,winning performances were turned in by Katie Keller and Mackenzie Bennion. The Varsity Boys also lost 5-2. Adam Norris won his singles match 8-0 and teamed up with Tommy Strickland to win their doubles match. Gus Myers, playing in his first ever match, took his opponent to a tie-breaker in singles while he and Alex King just fell short in their doubles match 7-9. NCS hosts  Admiral Farragut this Thursday, 2-21 at Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club at 4 pm. -- Coach Caldwell
