Junior Mustang Athletics

Dear Elementary Parents,

Northside Christian School Athletics welcomes you to a brand new school year. We wanted to give you some information regarding our Junior Mustang Athletic Program. Also, a registration form is available for download that will give you game times and dates for all four seasons.

• Practice times for 2nd-5th grade is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Practice times for K-1st grade is on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

We are also looking for volunteers for all of our teams. If you have a desire to volunteer, you will have to pass a background check. Team sponsors are also welcome to help out with snacks and drinks for the games.

We have made one slight change to our Junior Mustang Program. The football and cheerleading season will now take place in January. The soccer season will now take place in September at the beginning of the school year.

The other information that is important is the uniform situation. Several have asked if you can still use last year’s uniform. If you want to use last year’s uniform you can check off the registration form and give us the color of the uniform. The cost if you are using last year’s uniform is $70. The cost without it is $100. The cost is per sport.

Junior Mustangs Athletic Program

The elementary program is made up of four seasons. The programs will be directed by our Middle and High School coaches. Each season will run for approximately 6 weeks. The cost of the season will be around $100, which will include uniforms and a trophy. Each team will practice twice per week and play all games on Saturdays. All practices will take place after school from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

	Early Fall Soccer - Aug 30 – Oct 9 (Saturdays – 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9)
	Late Fall Baseball/Volleyball - Oct 26 – Dec 12 (Saturdays - 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11 - No Game 11/27)
	Winter Football/Cheerleading – Jan 11 – Feb 20 (Saturdays - 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26 - No Game 2/6)
	Spring Basketball – Mar 9 – April 24 (Saturdays – 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23 – No Practice or Game during Spring Break)
	Enrollment Sign up for these sports by completing the Jr. Mustang Sports enrollment form. You must sign up PRIOR to the start of each sport's season.
