New Changes and Familiar Faces

In making plans for the 2008-09 school year, I have asked Mr. Keller to use his strong leadership in our middle school, where he has spent more than 20 years shaping the lives of pre-teen girls and boys. Mr. Lee Lockhart, our current Middle School Principal, will assume the role of Campus Superintendent working with facilities, transportation, health and food services, emergency planning and school medical needs.

Mrs. Louise Crowder- Neri will be joining our team and will serve as the new Elementary School Principal. After more than 20 years in the classroom, Mrs. Neri served as principal of North Ward Elementary here in Pinellas County for 10 years and most recently she has been at Southern Oak Elementary. I believe her leadership, her experience and her love for our Lord and Savior are the exact qualifications needed to fulfill this position.

The NCS Administration is strong and empowered by these changes as we continue to be a Christ-centered school of excellence.

Protecting Our Soldiers

Looking for a way to give back to our troops around the world?
Mary Kay Cosmetics is willing to partner with you to help protect our troops. This spring if you purchase a Mary Kay Sun Protection Care Package for our troops, Mary Kay consultant and NCS mom, Kim Glazner, will match your gift. The cost for the complete package is $38 and may be ordered online but make sure in the comment section you say “Sunscreen Kit for Troops.” Kim will coordinate the delivery to the troops in conjunction with Operation Stars and Stripes. Elementary After-Care is Open

Friday, May 30th: Last Day of School is a half day. AfterCare will be provided at the daily billable rate.
Monday, June 2nd: PREPAY In-Service - $30 full day, $15 half day; Option C includes this day
Tuesday, June 3rd: PREPAY In-Service - $30 full day, $15 half day; Option C includes this day
Wednesday, June 4th: PREPAY at drop off $30 full day, $15 half day
Thursday, June 5th: PREPAY at drop off $30 full day, $15 half day
Friday, June 6th: PREPAY at drop off $30 full day, $15 half day

Express Lane to Camp Mustang

Can you say “road trip”? This summer, Camp Mustang will travel, swim, take Tae Kwon Do, as well as express ourselves in service to the Lord. Want to know more? Sign up for what will be the most exciting, excellent, extraordinary summer here at Camp Mustang! Camp will run June 9th to August 8th. Change the Court with Your Spare Change

Basketball and Volleyball baskets are all over the NCS campus and waiting to be filled with your spare change. This summer while students are away, coaches will be hard at work making improvements in the gym facilities. A national company who resurfaces many gym floors for the NBA is on board to redo our gym floor this summer. All NCS students will benefit from the improved facilities whether for PE, extra-curricular sports programs or special meetings. The elementary class who raises the most money will have a great “party” in the gym with Coach Hernandez!
