What Is InfoDirect™?

Keeping parents informed of their student's progress and school functions has always been a challenge for educators. Lost notes, phone tag and busy schedules are some of the obstacles we face when trying to communicate. InfoDirect™ is a feature designed to help connect our school and families by means of a secure Internet connection.

With a user ID and password, parents will be able to monitor grades, print homework assignments, check financial account information and even send messages to teachers and staff. All of this can be done from the parent's home or work computer, and is included as with each student's tuition.

InfoDirect Benefits:

• Secure Access with a Username and Password.
• Information is updated daily.
• Accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

	Grades & Progress Reports Grades are posted by subject (math, science, etc.) and by category (daily grade, homework, quizzes and tests.) The grades are posted by date and task description. A grade weight percentage is also given.
	Homework Assignments Each week’s homework assignments are listed by day (M-F) and by subject. Teachers partner with parents by showing all assignments in a timely manner.
	Calendar of Events Although events may occasionally be seen on the InfoDirect calendar, Northside Christian School maintains its own activity calendars.
	Extra Curricular Athletic events, fine arts programs, and related schedules are a part of this module. View entire schedules complete with driving instructions to offsite event locations.
	Tuition Account Review View your tuition account statement details.
	Message Center Keep in communication with school teachers and staff easily using the message center.  This feature is still in testing mode, so if you have any questions or comments, please send them via email to info.direct@nck12.com.  Thank you!

InfoDirect Signup

Please contact the High School office to obtain an InfoDirect signup form if you did not receive a form at reenrollment or in your admissions packet.

Tips for using InfoDirect:

1. Please keep the school informed of changes to your email address.  We need your valid email address to send notification of password changes, news, and other updates.  Your valid and active email address is necessary for us to send notification of password changes, news, and other updates. To maintain the security of our InfoDirect system, new passwords may periodically be assigned to our students and families. You will not receive notices of change if the address on file is wrong.
2. Please wait 24 hours to use your new InfoDirect username/password combination.  It is effective the day after issuance.
3. Passwords are case sensitive.
4. Save the email containing your username and password.
5. You will need to have the Macromedia Flash Player plugin installed for your computer's web browser. If you do not already have this installed, please follow these steps: a) After you log in to Infodirect, there is a link at the bottom of the page that says 'Viewing This Site.' b) You will then see a link to download the Flash plugin.
6. If you use a spam filter, please add info.direct@nck12.com to your allowed list. This will help ensure that you receive emails from the school. You may also wish to add your student's teacher emails to this list.
7. School calendars and lunch menus may be found by following the links at the bottom of each web page.
