Accelerated Reader

NCS is excited to offer the Accelerated Reader Program in our Elementary and Middle Schools!  Here is how the program works:

• Students choose their own books and read them at their own pace.

• Student takes a quiz on the computer. AR’s Reading Practice Quizzes help teachers to motivate and monitor increased reading practice.

• Student and teacher get Information! Both the student and teacher get immediate, individualized constructive feedback to direct ongoing reading practice.

Please search our library database, Athena, to gather some titles for lots of fun reading! Note: We are very sorry, but our Athena Web Link is not functioning right now. We are working on the problem and hope to have it fixed soon. Until that time, we are making the following lists available for download. Note, the documents are a length 80+ pages, so we would not recommend printing them!
