Back To School Supplies & Uniforms

For your convenience in preparing for the new school year, the Mustang Avenue School Store will be open in the Middle/High School until the start of school, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Be sure to stock up on uniform shirts, spirit shirts and sweatshirts.

Back to school supply lists and textbook lists are shown in each school's division further down this page, or you may also visit our Back To School web page.

• High School families - Please double check the textbook list for the latest updates. There have been additions and corrections made to some of the lists. It is important that you place your orders now so books will arrive in time for the first day of school.
• Kindergarten -6th grade families - You may purchase your school supplies in one neat package here at NCS. The supplies will be delivered to your child’s classroom on Monday, August 16th. To reserve your supply kit, email Tracy Gamble or stop by Mustang Avenue. Orders must be received by Wednesday, August 11th.
• Preschool families - The preschool school supply list is posted on our Back To School page. We are busy making preparations for our move. We hope you are as excited as we are about the new changes ahead on the main campus!

New NCS Shuttle Service for Northeast St. petersburg

For the 2010-2011 school year, Northside Christian School will offer a morning shuttle service to families in Northeast St. Petersburg. The NCS shuttle will make a stop at 7:15am on 38th Ave and 4th Street and then at 7:20am on 9th Street and 62nd Ave. The cost for the service will be $15/week per child. We must have at least 6 students registered by August 2nd to offer the service. If you or a family you know are interested, please contact Randilyn Farrell immediately.

Register for Summer Camps Now!

NCS has many great opportunities for our students to learn while having fun. Choose from nature camps, sports camps, computer camps, music camps and more. Take time to read through all of the exciting enrichment camps for elementary students. All registration forms should be turned into the high school office. If you choose an enrichment camp, fees must be paid a week in advance.

• Preschool Camp

• Paradise Enrichment Camps (ages 5 through 12): Rising Kindergarten through 6th grade students can come for the morning to one of the enrichment camps and then choose to stay for the afternoon and enjoy field trips to museums, pool parks, etc. Campers will enjoy the chance to make new friends, create happy memories, grow and improve skills and most of all, to have FUN!

• Athletic Camps (Elementary through 9th grade)

• Fine Arts Camps (Elementary through 12th grade)

• Middle & High School Academic Camps (6th through 12th grade)

Prospective Student Open House

Interested in attending Northside?

When school is in session, open house evenings are scheduled periodically throughout the year for prospective Kindergarten through Grade 12 students. Classrooms are open and tours are given by administrators and teachers. During the summer, we invite you to schedule a personal tour of our lovely wooded campus. Summer Workouts

All varsity athletes are encouraged to attend NCS Summer Workouts Monday through Thursday - June 7th through July 29th. The summer program is designed for rising 9th -12th grade boys and rising 6th – 12th grade girls who are enrolled in NCS for the fall. NCS coaches Hernandez, Dobson, Goodwin, Madasz, Petrosky, Wilmington and Jackson will take students through a series of specially designed workouts from 9:00am – 12:00pm. A current physical must be on file before beginning workouts.

NCS PRESCHOOL MOVE

This fall our preschool will open its “new door” on our main campus. To continue providing the preschool with a safe, nurturing, learning environment, the preschool program will be relocated to our main campus at 7777 62nd Avenue North in St. Petersburg. If you or someone you know would like to enroll in our 5 or 3 full-day or half-day program, please contact Nancy Chase at 727-381-4999 to schedule a tour as soon as possible. We are excited to have all of our Mustangs on one campus!

Come Veg With Us!

Northside has designed a preschool camp curriculum that will keep the children moving, laughing, singing and enjoying the backyard’s vegetable garden. Bob and Larry and all the Veggie Tale gang will help us learn new things, create works of art, and experience independence in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Our program balances child-directed and teacher-activities. Come Veg with us!

• Monday—Friday from 8:00 – 5:00 ($150.00)
• Camp begins Tuesday, June 1st and ends Friday July 30th. No camp Monday, July 5th.
• Summer camp will be at the current church location.
• To attend summer camp, children must be enrolled in NCS for the fall, toilet trained, provide own lunch and snack, sunscreen, water bottle and like Veggies! Rising kindergartners should attend the Paradise Summer Camp on the elementary school campus.
