• Family icon What Are All These Accounts?

Following is a basic description of each electronic communication method we use.  Parents and students will have several accounts for electronic access, depending on the student's grade level. At this time, accounts are not interlinked or synchronized.

    • MyNorthside:  MyNorthside is a student/parent information service that contains assignments, grades, attendance, discipline and report card information. MyNorthside is available for all families and grade levels

    • JAMF Mobile Device Management System (MDM):  Our MDM uses profiles that help us to manage security, apps and wireless connection profiles for mobile devices used on campus. Students do not have individual passcodes for WiFi access. Instead, access codes (and apps) are delivered to iPads automatically through the MDM.

    • NCS Domain Network:  Students in grade levels 7 through 12 have their own network credentials, which are used for logging on to student campus computers and for registering iPads in our MDM system.

    • NCS Google Apps:  Students in grade levels 6- through 12 have G-Suite for Education accounts.  G-Suite for Education is a ‘cloud-accessible’ suite of productivity applications.  (Email, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, Google Drive etc.)  The student's G-Suite for Education account is also used to logon to the Chrome notebooks in our Mobile Lab.
