• Elementary Physical Education
Our Physical Education Curriculum contributes to each student's total growth and development by using active and engaging lessons. We emphasize the importance of physical and social skills in every aspect of the class. The students take part in activities that help them obtain and improve physical skills such as running, throwing, catching and dribbling, applicable to sports such as basketball, soccer and handball. Physical Education also helps students develop sportsmanship through team sports which helps them learn to respect others, contribute to a team goal, and socialize as a productive member of a team. These tools result in an increase of confidence both physically and socially as the students grows throughtout the elementary program. Our goal is to develop fitness and foster the desire for lifelong particpation in physical activity by creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere for them to learn and play.
