Mrs. Leaha Shaikh
Mrs. Shaikh joined the NCS Faculty in the 2002-2003 school year. She taught Middle School English and Spanish, then continued teaching Middle School Spanish in the 2003-2004 school year. Mrs. Shaikh then went on the mission field to serve in college ministry in the Tampa Bay Metro Area, sports chaplaincy at the University of South Florida, and Olympic Chaplaincy before returning to the NCS Faculty to teach in the Praxis program from 2015-2016, then in the Spanish Department from 2016 to now. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Southeastern University and has served alongside her husband as an Olympic Chaplain ministering to Spanish speaking athletes. Mrs. Shaikh is also a contributing author for the NIV Bible for Women: Fresh Insights for Thriving in Today's World. In 2020 Mrs. Shaikh earned her Master's Degree in Romance Languages from the University of New Orleans, and currently serves as the Middle and High School Spanish Department Head.
