    Northside looks forward to adding Lacrosse to our sports program starting Spring of 2018.

    Coach Mo Asif is originally from Pakistan. He moved to the United States as a child and was raised in Middletown, NJ. He started playing lacrosse as a sophmore in high school. He moved to Daytona Beach, FL to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1994.While earning a degree in Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle, Coach Asif played lacrosse for the Eagles and was co-captian his last two years in college. Upon graduation from Embry-Riddle, Coach Asif worked for NASA, and was a professor at Keiser University. He moved to St. Petersburg to pursue a career opportunity and continue to grow the game of lacrosse in Florida.

    Coach Asif has played lacrosse on men's leagues in the Tampa Bay area including the Tampa Thunder and the Tampa Shooters league. He has a true passion for the game of lacrosse and especially for coaching. He is the Director of Boys' Lacrosse for the Saint Petersburg Lacrosse Club where he has coached since 2013. Coach Asif also holds a Level 1 certification from US Lacrosse.  

    Coach Asif is proud to be coaching Northside Christian's first boys' lacrosse team in 2018. He is excited to share his coaching expertise that emphasizes Christian character and conduct, achievement in athletics, leadership skills and respect for teammates and opponents. 

    Coach Asif is married to his wife Alisa, and they have two children, Tyson and Mila.
