Mrs. Bethany Yoder
Hello! My name is Bethany Yoder. This is my fourth year at Northside and I have loved every minute of it. Our classroom theme is BUGS and you will soon find out that I actually do LOVE bugs!
This year will be my ninth year as a teacher! I attended Indiana Wesleyan University, where I studied Elementary Education and Exceptional Needs Education. Before I came to NCS, I taught in the public school system for five years. I was an EBD teacher (Emotional/Behavior Disabilities) and worked with some amazing kids who taught me that abilites do not define or limit us.
I have the most incredible husband. We met in Indiana during college and after getting married, I begged him to move back to Florida (warm weather again, praise the Lord). In December, we will celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary. You will hear a lot of stories about Mr. Reid because he pops in to do fun activites with the kids and he is a daredevil so the kids love to hear his tales. Together we enjoy boating, fishing, traveling, and trying any new restaurant that serves tacos! I also love reading nonfiction books, cooking new recipes, and working outside in the yard.
I am an out-of-the-box thinker and I encourage creative thinking in our classroom. I hope your child learns how cool it is to be unique. God made each of them so very special with different talents. I am looking forward to helping them develop these special skills.
I cant wait to see how these "little bugs" impact this great big world!
All my love,
